About Me

Picture
I began racing go karts in 1998 at the age of 11.  I raced go karts until the age of 16 where I made the transition to sports cars.  I started in a Mazda RX7 before moving to the American Sedan class.  I graduated from California Polytechnic State University in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering where I studied race cars and vehicle dynamics.  Throughout most of college I was part of the Formula SAE team where I was team leader and designed the suspension for Cal Poly’s Formula SAE car in 2008.

I am currently a Vehicle Dynamics Development Engineer working with a small team to develop the ride and handling of a high performance luxury vehicle.  This position allows me to get significant seat time as one of the companies few professional development drivers.

In addition to my driving hours at work, I am also certified as a driving coach where I work with students one-on-one or in a group setting at track days.
